Sr Mary Ranjana Joseph is honoured as the founding principal in 2022 and
continues to serve in this capacity, steering the school with visionary leadership.
Under her leadership, Notre Dame Academy successfully assumed administrative
control from KLE and secured the No Objection Certificate (NOC) along with all
necessary approvals from the Maharashtra State Government, initiating the process
for CBSE affiliation.
For three years, KLE, NTPC and Notre Dame Academy collaborated under a
Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) to ensure a smooth transition. During this period,
Sr Mary Ranjana Joseph worked diligently to obtain government approvals while
also fostering steady growth in student enrolment.
From an initial strength of 83 students, the school has expanded significantly, now
accommodating 260 students from Bal Vatika 3 (UKG) to Class VIII. Additionally, two
batches of Grade VIII students have successfully transitioned into CBSE schools of
their choice for Grade IX admission.
With a strong foundation in place, Notre Dame Academy now eagerly anticipates its
CBSE board affiliation to facilitate Grade IX enrolment, ensuring students receive a
seamless education that prepares them for CBSE board examinations in the years to
come.
